I had assumed the console was gone and got rid of the games, but then it turned up from the back of a closet. I wiped down the whole thing, and the noticeable dirt is gone, but there is some dirt in the small crevices. The disc drive may be weak, as the open button sometimes sticks. It can be fixed by manually moving the tab inside. Regarding functionality, I tested it by inserting a CD since I don't have any games, and it read and produced sound. For shipping, there is no box, so I will wrap it in cushioning material and put it in a suitable box, using a private parcel service. I hope someone can make use of it.
