I received this as a souvenir from Denmark. I have kept it with great care. Studio Arhoj, founded by Anders Arhoj, a rising young artist making waves in Denmark, is a design studio that's attracting a lot of attention. His signature "Ghost" series (objects that look like ghosts covered in colorful sheets) has been popping up in stylish shops all over Copenhagen in recent years, and I see them everywhere. And every time I see them, I feel a little happy. Anders, who has also studied in Japan, is still a big fan of Japan. I feel a strong sense of familiarity when I notice the Japanese touches woven into his creations. The Ghosts gently stay close to their owners, serving as lucky charms or, at times, as practical tools (such as ring holders). Each Ghost is handmade. They are formed on a potter's wheel, glazed, decorated, and fired three times in a kiln. The Ghosts, born through this very careful process, are one-of-a-kind and have irreplaceable individual personalities. These are ceramic works handmade by the artist. Each piece is unique, and the expressions and impressions may differ from the product photos, but we hope you will enjoy them as individual characteristics.
