This is a Sony CD WALKMAN D-E880 portable CD player. As part of the end-of-life preparations of someone I'm indebted to, I received various items (for a fee). This is one of them. There are no accessories at all, and there are some scratches, but I couldn't just take what I wanted and refuse the rest, so I received it without properly checking its condition. In this listing, I tested it with my own headphones and batteries. The power turns on, and the disc spins, but the crucial sound doesn't come out. All the buttons function, and the electronic "beep" sounds with each operation, and the display changes, but no sound comes out no matter how many times I try. (The time display also doesn't appear.) Unfortunately, it seems to be a "junk item." The exterior is generally clean, including the battery compartment, but there are some scratches on the upper right side of the main unit. Also, the hinge on the right side of the lid (plastic part) is broken, making it a little difficult to open and close the lid. Due to these conditions, I have selected "Poor condition overall" for the product's condition. It powers on, and each operation button seems to function, but the crucial sound doesn't come out. Please consider purchasing this item only if you understand that it is a "junk item," for repair, parts, or display purposes. Returns, refunds, exchanges, and support are not accepted. Only the product itself will be provided. There are no accessories such as the box, instruction manual, headphones, or batteries used for the operation check. When shipping the item, I will use recycled packaging materials and pack it appropriately, and ship it via "Nekopos" (a Japanese delivery service).
