We will be selling various handmade stuffed animal creations by the late Sachiko Tanaka, a Kyoto artist. All items are commissioned by the artist's family. The "Small Vegetable Garden" series is of extremely high quality, and you'll be amazed by their delicacy and precision when you hold them. These works were exhibited in solo exhibitions for a while and were then carefully stored by her family. These items are about 30 years old, so they are not new as if you bought them in a store. However, they have a warm, comforting feel. You will find them to be wonderful works with soul, that you can display and look at without ever getting tired of them. The artist selected the fabrics one by one, dyed them by hand, drew intricate lines, and created these works after a painstaking process. As she was from Kyoto, the creations include vegetables unique to Kyoto. The prices may be a bit high, but we are confident that they are high-quality items that you will not regret purchasing. The items will be shipped individually, without baskets. Items include realistic, life-sized daikon radishes with leaves, various pumpkins, asparagus, taro, and more. The daikon radishes are slightly soiled to express the freshness of being pulled from the earth. Please be careful not to put them in the refrigerator. You might mistake them for the real thing. You couldn't buy them at this price at the exhibitions. Please use an 8cm lighter or a measuring tape as a size guide. Shipping will be from Tokyo.
