Please be sure to read my profile m(_ _)m. ** This is a set of 5 lidded small rice bowls from Nanpū-gama, a brand of Sanyo Toki that is no longer in production. (Nanpū-gama was a popular brand of Sanyo Toki, along with Ryūhō-gama.) These are luxurious items, using all four colors: gold, platinum silver, sometsuke (blue and white), and colored painting. The colored floral pattern is drawn on a platinum silver background. The design features flowers and leaves scattered in various sizes, creating a dynamic scene ^_^. (The floral pattern even extends to the lid's knob!) The platinum silver and gold are not solid colors, but have a pear skin finish for a soft color. By using intermediate colors for the floral pattern, they complement each other, resulting in a very elegant finish. Although various colors are incorporated, the effective use of silver prevents it from becoming gaudy, creating a refreshing and gorgeous appearance. These are wonderful items, perfect for the coming season ^_^. ※ Please note that the colors may appear slightly different depending on the type of natural light or lighting. The size is approximately: bowl diameter 13 cm, height 7.1 cm, lid diameter 11.6 cm, height 3.4 cm. Height of the covered bowl: approximately 9.7 cm. Use them as small rice bowls, lidded bowls for rice dishes. As steamed bowls for chawanmushi (savory egg custard) or odamaki-mushi (steamed noodles with vegetables and egg). As nakazuke (small side dishes) for simmered dishes or Japanese-style side dishes. For soups, or for a small serving of noodles at the end of a meal, shiruko (sweet red bean soup), ozoni (New Year's soup), etc... As versatile bowls, they are the perfect size for various dishes ^_^.
