This is a repurposed Nagoya-style obi made into a simplified, pre-tied obi! (No certification paper) The base is a deep red with a gold thread pattern of sayagata (key fret) design. The center of the taiko (drum) and the front panel feature peony arabesques surrounding an octagonal lotus flower motif. The design and color scheme have a charming feel. Suitable for everyday wear and lessons. The photos show it paired with a separately sold komon (small pattern kimono). This is the price for the obi only.
