The fabric is dyed on both sides, and judging from the texture, it is likely genuine dye, probably chusen (a traditional Japanese dyeing technique). Please confirm and make your own judgment based on the images. It seems this yukata was used for kimono lessons a few times. Although it's been nearly 30 years, the fabric is still firm and sturdy, and in my personal opinion, the condition is good with no obvious damage for its age. However, please consider this item only if you understand and accept the characteristics of vintage and used clothing. The obi (sash) appears to be unused based on its condition. The yukata has a tag (Made in Japan, 100% cotton). ● I generally list items in a condition where they can be worn or used immediately upon arrival, but individual perceptions may vary. Also, the condition check is similar to a quick visual inspection in a store.
