This is a silk bonnet worn by a small Sakura Bisque doll. A temari ball of about 20cm in circumference fit snugly inside, so it's likely for a doll with a head circumference around that size. It's made of very thin crepe with a textured finish, and silk ribbon is used for the edge ruffles and the tie. It's an item from the Taisho to early Showa period, and I think it's in good condition for an antique, with no noticeable stains or holes.
