Based on surfing and skateboarding, <SSZ> (pronounced "esu esu zī"), which expresses the mood it seeks through music, art, and messages, has teamed up with the Tokyo-based culture store "MIN-NANO" to release a special order item consisting of four types. "MIN-NANO" is a shop that curates custom bicycles and up-and-coming brands from Japan and abroad, capturing street culture from various angles. This collaboration was realized because Mr. Goro Nakatsugawa, the head of "MIN-NANO," and Tadayuki Kato, the director of <SSZ>, share many common interests in terms of things, people, and events. By naturally mashing up each other's styles, they created a collection that resonates with people who share the same style. Furthermore, the pants, which are an "MIN-NANO" arrangement of <SSZ>'s initial item, the "SHAKA EASY TROUSERS," feature a silhouette with a moderate taper that isn't too loose. In addition, each item is adorned with a theme tag designed like a blank legal pad (American-style memo pad), which had only been used in samples before, demonstrating a commitment to detail.
