There are many scratches, stains, sun damage, and discoloration. I have only confirmed that it starts up. I have taken care of it, but it is an old product from over 20 years ago. It may be difficult to start, so it is being sold as junk. (In the case of cassettes with built-in batteries, the batteries have not been replaced, so they are either dead or expired.)
