It's a black and white checkered pattern. The fabric is soft and easy to use. I've used it about twice. There's a stain in one place (see image 5). The small color variations in images 3 and 4 were present from the beginning and are likely part of the original fabric. I haven't used it much, so the condition is relatively good, but please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to used items, as this is a pre-owned item and has been inspected by a non-professional.
