This is a set-up made by upcycling a Kuro-tomesode (black formal kimono). Measurements (laid flat): * Top Width (underarm to underarm): approx. 68 cm Length: approx. 52 cm * Pants Total length: approx. 90 cm Hem width: approx. 51 cm * Bolero Width (sleeve opening to sleeve opening): approx. 126 cm Sleeve opening width: approx. 36 cm * Ribbon tie Length: approx. 191 cm Please allow for slight variations. The waist is fully elasticated. 2.5 cm wide elastic, 80 cm long, is temporarily secured with safety pins. Please adjust the waist size to your own by sewing it larger or smaller. Five belt loops made of the same fabric are sewn onto the waist. Several tucks are added in the front and back. A diamond-shaped gusset is added to the crotch of the pants to allow for a wider range of movement. The diamond shape also provides extra room inside the pants. Adhesive tape is applied around the neckline as a core and to the edges of the diamond-shaped gusset to prevent fraying. The selvedges are left as they are, and the cut edges are finished with a serger. The bolero can be arranged as a stole. You can wear the sleeves with the pattern on either side. Photo 7 shows an example of arranging it as a stole. Photo 8 shows an example of wearing a jacket or cardigan instead of the bolero. If you wish, a pearl elastic band is available for +110 yen when used as a stole. You can wear the sleeves with the pattern on either side. The fabric has not been pre-washed. It was made as is from the kimono when purchased. Although ironing has been done, there may be lines that could not be removed from the kimono's original folds, as well as stains that were present from the beginning. This is a handmade item created by an amateur as a hobby. There may be imperfections such as loose threads, slight asymmetry, overlooked stains, etc. Please consider this before purchasing.
