It has a reasonable amount of wear and tear. There are scratches on the edges, and the markings have turned white, but the Teflon coating is intact and there seem to be no problems with use. It has a shape that is unlikely to boil over, and a whistle sounds when it's time to lower the heat, so you can do something else in the meantime. (I think it's best to stay in the kitchen) There is an instruction manual, but be prepared for some failures at first... You may need to adjust the heat depending on your household.
