This is a homemade shimenawa (sacred rope) made using rush grass, suitable for New Year's, Shinto rituals, and shimenawa wreaths. It's designed for small shrines and household altars with a width of 12cm to 70cm, and can be adjusted by moving the zip tie sections left and right. Please adjust the spread of the "tare" (hanging paper streamers) by moving the black thread tied with a "otoko-musubi" knot up and down. Three spare zip ties are included, so you can shorten the overall length if needed. Includes shide (zigzag paper streamers). It's also suitable for use as a shimenawa wreath for your entrance.
