This is an Edo Komon kimono, a traditional craft. It features Japanese embroidery of gourds. The length and arm span are tailored long. (Because I am 168cm tall) The plain white obi (sash) has the character for "gourd" written on it by a calligrapher, and the same font is used for the Japanese embroidery. Both are unworn, with the basting threads still attached. This is a very rare kimono.
