This is a CARL MARTIN COMPRESSOR LIMITER. Operation confirmed. Includes a bonus (Japanese translation of the manual). This is a compact unit that condenses studio rack-quality compressor & limiter into one. The fact that it's powered directly from a wall outlet shows CARL MARTIN's serious commitment. Quite a while ago, when Jeff Mironov came to Japan for a performance with the Ralph MacDonald Band, he used this compressor and produced a wonderful tone. I think it's a very high-quality compressor & limiter. As you know, the key to a compressor & limiter is finding the perfect settings for each parameter, and the English manual on the manufacturer's website explains the effects of the parameters and setting examples in detail. I found it difficult to read in English, so I used a Japanese translation. As a bonus, I will include a printout of the Japanese translation of the manual (2 pages) (photo 2). There are a few places where the paint has peeled or is dirty due to aging, but there is no scratchiness in the knobs, and the basic condition is good. There are traces of Velcro having been removed on the back. Please check the photos for details. Since this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
