Ki-sen Kiln is a popular kiln with sophisticated and high-quality tableware, including somenishiki (colored porcelain), sometsuke (blue and white porcelain), and seihakuji (celadon). This item features a beautiful somenishiki design inspired by Ko-Imari. "Somenishiki" is a technique of applying overglaze with red, green, and gold to sometsuke. It is one of the characteristic techniques of Ko-Imari from the Edo period, which was favored by European nobles. The inside features a three-part ground pattern centered on arabesque patterns in gos (blue), auspicious patterns of chrysanthemums and double tasuki in vibrant red, and a gorgeous design with gold accents. It has a gorgeous finish that looks great on the dining table ^_^. The outside also features a luxurious design with a beautiful contrast between gos and red. ※The color may look slightly different depending on the natural light or the type of lighting.
