I made a large tote bag using domestically produced tartan check (slightly brushed) cotton fabric. It has a small outer pocket and a camel-colored leather tag. The tartan check is a medium-weight fabric with a cute, large check pattern. The lining is made of ecru oxford cloth and has two pockets. The handles are made of the same tartan check fabric, with interfacing and secured with four stitches. They are designed for carrying by hand or on the elbow. This bag is easy to use and adds a pop of color to your coat. It's lightweight and seems perfect for everyday use.
