There is no special box. I am not very familiar with Western tableware, so please check the photos. Although I am an amateur, I have not found any cracks or chips, nor any peeling of the gold trim. It seems to be an antique, so perhaps the gold is slightly less vibrant, or perhaps it was like that from the beginning?
