This is a hand-knitted hat purchased at a festival in Latvia. It's cute with fluffy rabbit pom-poms. In a country where winters can be below -20°C, it was funny when the local ladies would gesture "cold ears!" if you were walking around without a hat. I often saw people knitting on buses and trams, and I thought they were people who knew how to spend the long winters well. It's a country I really love and it holds many memories. I'm hesitant to list it, but I haven't been able to use it much lately because I've been keeping it carefully stored away, so I would be happy if I could pass it on to someone who loves it.
