The branch is "gu" (rock/stone in the rock-paper-scissors game). This is an incredibly rare card. There's a fold in the lower left center and also in the upper left. There's other damage, which is reflected in the price. There's a slight tear on the backboard, above the sticker. This is an incredibly rare item, and these vintage items are rarely seen.
