There is one small scratch on the frame from storage, but it is not noticeable at all when installed on the ceiling. We have included images of the frame with and without light to show the scratch. You can adjust the brightness, and also change the color temperature to your preference, from warm white to neutral white and daylight. Installation is quick-type, so there is no need to screw it in; it can be attached with one touch, which is very convenient. A remote control is also included with this product.
