Ideal for emergencies and disaster preparedness, not just for outdoor activities. I purchased this but never used it, so it is a new, unused item. There are no scratches or stains on the poncho itself, but there are many fold creases from storage. Also, the storage bag has some dirt on it because I carried it around.
