A lovely small tokkuri (sake bottle). I purchased it at an antique shop some time ago. Bracken ferns (warabi) are painted on the Oribe-yaki glaze. I really liked its simple feel, but I haven't used it. I had it displayed in the entryway. This time, I'm listing it because I thought the tokkuri would come to life if I passed it on to someone who enjoys sake. It's easy to grip firmly in one hand, fits comfortably in the hand, and seems like it would make the sake taste even better. How about putting sake in it, keeping it in the refrigerator, and enjoying it with your evening drinks? I don't know the pottery's origin.
