Thank you for viewing. This is a dove-shaped tokkuri (sake bottle) I received from Kamata Chozan a long time ago. A dove-shaped tokkuri is a sake vessel used to warm sake by sticking its pointed tail into the ash of an irori (sunken hearth). At Kamata Chozan, they warm sake by placing it on the grill over the irori. I think it would also be good to use it on top of a stove. - Material: Ceramic - Capacity: Approximately 200cc.
