There is a slight lift on the edge of the base plate (image 17). Washers are inserted to prevent the tires from sticking to the base, but the washers will be removed before shipping to prevent loosening during transport. The soft top will also be secured with drafting tape for shipping. The insert-type soft top that recreates the open state will be placed in a cover and secured to the base with drafting tape for shipping (as shown in the image 2, secured to the rear of the car with a cover).
