# Tail Doll Obi This is an obi for an Ichimatsu doll. It was tailored for a small, beautiful boy, but I am selling it because I changed his kimono. It is made from scraps of a mid-Showa period furisode (long-sleeved kimono). The fabric features elegant depictions of waves, bamboo, lattice fences, maple leaves, and mandarin ducks on a light blue and pale purple background. It does not have interlining, but the fabric is firm enough that it will not be limp. I believe you can enjoy it as a simple tied obi, rather than a hekko obi. The fabric was cut and then sewn together at both ends so that the mandarin ducks would be centered. Please understand that this is amateur craftsmanship.
