I handcrafted a tote bag by patchwork using the embroidered and plain parts of an ivory Nagoya obi. It's a very lightweight bag with a smooth texture. The ivory base color features orange flowers and silver & gold embroidery. The overall soft and understated color scheme gives the bag a pure and gentle, mature feel. A stiff interfacing is used for the outer fabric. The inside uses a thin yellow fabric.
