This is a p.mauriat tenor saxophone, model PMXT66R, with a cognac lacquer finish. The new price was 605,000 yen. I purchased it new about 7 years ago from DAC in Shin-Okubo. I was considering switching from a Mark VI and found this one after comparing several saxophones, and its tone was the best. It's not a very well-known brand in Japan, but it's popular overseas, and Kirk Whalum also uses this brand. I have had it adjusted at a musical instrument store every year, and it's in very good condition. However, the solder on one part of the key guard came off and snagged on my clothing, so I had it soldered at a musical instrument store. Other than that, it has no repair history. Since it is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things. No claims and no returns are accepted. Direct hand-delivery is also possible if you are in or near Kanagawa or Tokyo. Please consider it.
