This is a Monette mouthpiece, STC-1. It's from a time before CNC machines. There are no scratches or dents that would affect playing. The shank seems to have been repaired, but it looks to be a clean job. (Monette's standard mouthpieces have thick shanks, making repairs difficult, and many repaired ones have altered metal thickness.) The B4 was improved and became the B4S3, but I don't like the "slap" sound, so I kept this one until the end. It sounds very good. Thanks to the rim shape, it's easy to play even for those who usually use a slightly smaller size. (It gives a quite different impression from the current B4.) To those considering a Prana. I don't recommend it unless you're a professional player. If you can't play this one I'm selling, you probably won't be able to. This is a mouthpiece that can be a benchmark for you. Please consider it.
