No outer box or instruction manual; everything is shown in the images. I can add more images if you need them. I wiped down the whole thing and cleaned it with cotton swabs, but there may be some spots I missed. Batteries are included. The battery cover opens by sliding after pushing on the protrusions instead of screws, so I will remove the cover to save you the trouble. (There is no instruction manual.) Returns and complaints are not accepted, so please understand before purchasing. ^_^
