I've included a photo of the same part of the wood, cross-sectioned, in the fifth image. * Made from a branch of a Yoshino cherry tree. * There is no hole for the hardness display window. * The surface is coated with beeswax wax. * There is a step or gap between this part and the pg5 body. * Because it is made of wood and is thin, I am not very confident in its durability. I have used Yoshino cherry wood for over six months without any cracking, but there may be individual differences. The pg5 body is not included. Price is not negotiable.
