It's a deep, dark brown mouton with a blackish tint, and the marble buttons are thick and large. It's likely based on the design of the Swedish military M-1909 mouton coat, with the pocket design and other features remaining the same, but with changes to the collar and front button shape for easier wear. There are ventilation holes under the arms to prevent stuffiness. There are flaps on the inside of the chest to prevent the coat from flapping in the wind when worn open.
