It is 100% cotton, 4.5 oz, white selvedge type. It is not stiff and is soft, so it seems easy to handle at home. (^^) It is not stretchy. *Fabrics using sulfur dyes have the characteristic of fading to a similar color over time. Sulfur-dyed black denim gradually changes to gray, creating a unique texture.
