This is an American vintage split raglan trench coat from around the 1950s-60s. Made of thick, yet smooth and high-quality worsted wool fabric, similar to winter suit material, with a fine dark navy and dark brown check pattern. This mid-length coat has a wonderful classic A-line silhouette with a rounded shape. Personally, I've always loved vintage split raglan trench coats. The shoulders are relatively compact, but the silhouette, which is created from the width to the hem, is exquisite. I think that Garcons from the '90s or so were conscious of this design. It looks great paired with slacks, but it also looks really cool when styled with black denim.
