This is a wine-red handguard (protector) for a French horn, made from genuine leather approximately 1.3mm thick. The thread is brown. It's easy to attach and detach with Velcro. The back of the handguard is water-repellent treated. It's designed to fit instruments where the mouthpipe curves near or below the little finger hook (similar to the Arterm B type). It can be attached to current Yamaha models, Alexander 1103, 503, and others. A handguard for the Alexander 103 is also available (only one piece).
