This is a very rare viola made in Mittenwald, Germany, a center for violin making in Germany. I purchased it based on a recommendation from the workshop. It is marked "copied," but the details of what it is a copy of (Stradivarius?) are unknown, but it is a viola with character. [Condition] While there are signs of wear and tear due to age, there is no fatal damage that would hinder playing, and it is still a viable viola. Various adjustments have been made.
