It has been stored in a closet for a long time after being made. The outer cardboard box is dirty. There are signs of age and dirt. (Photos 8-13) Also, the red line under the left eyebrow is missing. (It is present under the right eyebrow) Please look closely at the photos. Whether this is a mistake or intentional is unknown, but the price has been set low. I believe the mask itself is an O-beshimi that conveys a sense of power. The mask will be sent wrapped in Kinran fabric. A cord will be included. I am also listing other Noh masks. ■ This is a Kijin (demon god) mask characterized by its tightly closed mouth and large eyes and nose. In Noh, the Tengu mask is this O-beshimi. "Beshimi" comes from "heshimu," meaning to press or squeeze, and the mouth is tightly closed in a straight line. The eyes are wide open and the mouth is filled with power, expressing an attitude of trying to subdue everything with force.
