I'm not sure of the original condition as it was from my parents, but it's black and the bottom surface on both sides is a rough, brownish color, as if rust has surfaced. There are noticeable scratches in the center of the first photo and on the underside of the lid. The shape is irregular. I think someone who knows about these things would appreciate it, but I don't know much about them. However, I think it's an antique-looking water pitcher.
