About forty years ago, my uncle purchased this item, and it was kept in a wooden box without ever being used. I received it about three years ago. I heard that it was a one-of-a-kind piece and a very expensive purchase at the time. I don't do calligraphy, so I don't think I will use it in the future, and I am putting it up for sale. I don't know what the shell characters say or what they mean. In the 8th photo, there appears to be a crack. The wooden box also has some stains, and I think there may be some age-related deterioration, so I will classify it as having some scratches and dirt. The beautiful glossy black color and the shell patterns sparkle and are very beautiful.
