This is what is commonly called "Edo Crepe." The fabric is pure silk, but as it is old, there are tears, fraying, stains, and scuffs. Please enlarge the images to confirm. The fabric is quite weakened. We strive to capture colors close to the actual product, but please forgive any differences in hue. Also, those who are concerned about the unique smell of old fabric or the smell of moth repellents should refrain from purchasing.
