This is a Black Hmong jacket I obtained in Vietnam in 1993 during the Doi Moi period. The fabric is hand-woven cotton, dyed with batik and decorated with intricate cross-stitch ethnic embroidery. Hemp fabric is also used in some parts. It is unisex and would fit like a men's size M. The color in the third photo is the closest to the actual item. This is a handmade piece using vintage fabric from a minority ethnic group. As it uses vintage fabric, there may be some unevenness in the weave and dye, as well as some loose threads in the embroidery. Also, this jacket has been overdyed with indigo on faded vintage fabric, so it may fade when washed. Please wash it separately by hand with a neutral detergent. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for the precision of a mass-produced item. Recommended for those who love tribal art.
