The material is likely hinoki cypress or Japanese cedar, but I'm not certain. Cherry bark is used to bind the sanpo, suggesting they are well-made. Regarding the 6-sun size, there is a standard size for 6-sun sanpo, so please refrain from asking about the dimensions. Some areas have wood sap and stains that do not affect use, but the wood grain is relatively clean, so I have listed them as "no noticeable scratches or stains."
