This item was purchased 20 years ago from a kitchenware specialty store when I moved into a new home. I rarely used it, only a few times, and it has been stored in the back of a closet. The white part of the handle is where the sticker that said "Uchidashi" (hammered) has worn off. To prevent rust, I will ship it with a thin coat of camellia oil. Please wash it thoroughly before use.
