The Carl Zeiss Distagon 2.8/28 T* is a wide-angle prime lens designed by Carl Zeiss. Generally, it is a lens for the CONTAX/Yashica (C/Y mount) mount, manufactured from the 1970s to the 2000s (Nikon F mount was not available as an option). It features excellent contrast and vivid color reproduction, providing stable image quality close to that of modern lenses. Compact Design: By keeping the maximum aperture at f/2.8, it is significantly smaller and lighter than the higher-end Distagon 2/28 (commonly known as Hollywood). The minimum focusing distance is 25cm, allowing for close-up shots despite being a wide-angle lens.
