I remade a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I bought at a recycle shop. It has a gorgeous pattern. The red color is beautiful. The embroidery is also beautiful. The lining of the long bag is made from fabric for a nagajuban (long undergarment) that I bought in a bolt at a recycle shop. It has my favorite woven pattern of the "Seven Lucky Gods." The lining of the body bag is also made from fabric for a nagajuban that I bought in a bolt at a recycle shop. The photo shows a Tsugaru shamisen placed inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: silk (furisode) Lining: silk (nagajuban) for both the long bag and body bag This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. The following are my personal thoughts... When a shamisen is left unused, the sound becomes muffled, but I feel like it produces a better sound the more you play it. However, I feel like storing it in a silk long bag and body bag allows it to produce a good sound from the first strike. (*^^*)
