This is the hi-hat side of a Tama twin pedal. It's a double-chain, longboard type. This type seems to have a dedicated following. Indeed, the smooth longboard is easy to step on, and the double chain provides stability, unlike a single chain, preventing side-to-side wobble. I used to connect this pedal to a slightly newer generation Iron Cobra on the batter side, and it worked fine. This pedal is from before the Iron Cobra was called Iron Cobra. The later black Iron Cobras have text embossed on the pedal surface, which some people find makes the feel less than ideal. This is a valuable listing for the left-side pedal only. Pedal only.
