This is a wooden bear carving made by Horii Mingei in Sapporo. It is approximately 23 cm long and 13 cm high, with round glass eyes. This powerful piece depicts the bear with its fur bristling and roaring. The Horii Mingei mark is on the sole of the foot. I am also selling various other folk crafts.
