60s 70s Made in Japan Vintage Japan Vintage Archive Archive Goldwin Flocked Print Sweatshirt VINTAGE I am releasing this item from my personal vintage collection, which I have enjoyed collecting, in burgundy color. This is a vintage sweatshirt from the early tag of Goldwin, made in Japan, estimated to be from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. It features a tightly woven cotton-based body, typical of the early days of Japanese sweatshirts, with a striking flocked print on the front. Over time, the nap has flattened, creating natural cracks, giving it a unique vintage feel. It has been worn very little. It has a size balance and look similar to a football shirt. The raglan sleeves fit well on the shoulders, and the ribbing is in good condition. The white flocking on the burgundy color makes this a piece that evokes the American sports taste of the time. Goldwin is a long-established Japanese manufacturer founded in the 1950s, and this item is a rare vintage piece made in Japan during the brand's early days.
