I don't use it very often. About 3 months. There are no stains or anything. This includes the armrests and a sponge cushion throughout. I've added extra cushioning myself, so it's plumper than when I bought it. If you put in some effort, you can make it feel fluffy. You can add as much as you like. The last page shows the thickness with the cushions removed.
